Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) is a computer paradigm that
has gained a lot of attention during the last 5-10 years. Most of
the activities have been directed towards feedforward architectures
for pattern recognition or function approximation. Feedback ANN,
derived from the mean field approximation, can be used for
difficult combinatorial optimization problems found in Operations
Research. (References)
This WWW server is an attempt to let people try the mean field
annealing approach for some common combinatorial optimization
problems. No a priori knowledge about the mean field method is
required.
